Actually everything was superb, my next choice again in Prince Albert. Its perfect, central location was a plus. Explored Gordon Koppie Trail Start Park, that is located relatively near the hotel. Everyone working at this wonderful old property was affable. The service was efficient. There also was safe parking and clean pool;))

Stayed at a charming, historic place surrounded by silence and starry nights. Enjoyed the outdoor pool and activities like hiking. Such a lovely escape in the middle of nowhere.
Oh, how I despise limited off-street parking. So inconvenient.

We recently enjoyed a romantic getaway at a charming guesthouse in a lovely historic town. The hosts were top-notch, greeting us with a warm welcome and going above and beyond to make our stay special. The breakfast was scrumptious, with plenty of options to satisfy any palate. The room was comfortable and tastefully decorated, with a cozy bed and thoughtful touches like fresh milk in the fridge. It was a great location to explore the quaint town, with restaurants and attractions within walking distance. Plus, the garden was a true oasis, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine or cup of tea.
The WiFi reception in our room was lacking, but it was easy to remedy by using the communal areas. The heat during our stay was a bit uncomfortable, but the air conditioning in the room helped.
